So am wanting to test the use of Syncthing to serve as a poor mans personal cloud backup using the USB port of my Flint v1. I've installed the plugin from the applications menu but have no idea how I configure or start it. Have rebooted, no change. I expected there to be a new option in the expandable menu under Applications but nothing.

Unfortunately, I have to take away your expectations straight away. Addons that you install later never have a GUI within the GL GUI. If you are lucky, there is a GUI for luci - but for syncthing this isn't the case.
