Carriers supported by GL.iNet physical eSIM

Is there something that needs to be done to get eSIMs profiles to show? After uploading a QR code, and it sitting at 90% for a while but then completing under profiles nothing is listed

Where do you buy the esim profile from?

Same here, having issue with US mobile

OK, got it, we will give your feedback when we find the reason.

Vodafone UK

Hello @xray3248c, could you export the entire esim log (see below) with us to check the issue?

In addition, can you provide the purchase link of the Vodafone UK esim?

It was from Pay As You Go Plus | Best Pay As You Go SIM Card | Vodafone UK

This has just happened to me - exactly the same. I purchased and tried to install a Voxi (Vodafone UK) eSim, it tried to install - hung at 90%, then said it had completed However, it doesn't appear in the normal profiles.

I've actually tried this twice with two QR codes, after going back to the operator because I thought it was user error. Please could you advise if there is a fix?

Any update on US Mobile support?

Hi Rickyleung12, there is a incompatibility problem about the US Mobile with our this version esim card, we are very sorry for this problem, we will release a new version esim sim next month ASAP, you can get a new version esim card free when we release. Now, you can use other esim store profile with this version esim card. @Cathy

Hi @xray3248c @rclv1
After reviewing the logs, we discovered that the esim profiles of Vodafone UK and Voxi are incompatible with our physical esim cards, which resulted in the failure of the esim installation.
We are unable to purchase these two esim profiles here. Could you help us purchase the cheapest esim profile and provide us with a QR code for testing? We will see if this issue can be resolved in future version.
If the eSIM fails to work after testing by GL.iNet, we can compensate you accordingly. Thanks

Hi @Cathy , also eSIM profiles from Vodafone DE (Germany) are not accepted by my Puli. I can provide you with a QR and activation code for your internal testing. Please let me know how to transfer these in a secure way.
Regards

Hi @JaniSchlumpf Thanks for your kind information. Currently Vodafone DE esim is not compatible with the physical esim card as well. But the Vodafone DE eSIM will be supported by the new eSIM card. Pls provide your email address with us, we will notify you when having any updates. Thanks

I bought 2 physical esims from your Amzn shop(they're eiotclub type) for my Mudi v2(upgraded to fw 4.3.26) and I had a hard time with both. My intention was to activate Orange Travel esim for France.
With first sim, it never managed to register on any network in France. Still, I bought a Orage esim and managed to activate it on the router by using the repeater mode. After activation, the Orange esim never managed to register with Orange carrier.
Then I put the 2nd sim in the router. It managed to connect briefly to SFR network and I could install a new Orange esim. The new Orange esim NEVER managed to register with Orange network either. After waiting (and manually configuring Orange APN and waiting again) I gave up and disabled the Orange esim to return to the physical esim internet connection. I managed to connect again to SFR but the connection was not stable, meaning the sim would connect briefly then disconnect and stay disconnected, even though when connected briefly to SFR would show 4 bars of signal strength.
Overall experience with these 2 physical esims from eiotclub and the 2 Orange esims took 2 hours and left me very frustrated. (and cost me many $ too)

I would like to know what shall I do further to investigate what the problem is.

Attached is a log of the first physical esim and the orange attempt:

Hi @rossoneru

For the Orange esim, change the Protocol to "QCM" and enter the correct APN. See if it will work

Regarding the network drops issue with the physical esim seed profile, when issue happen again, pls export the logs from the SYSTEM -> Log page and send to me for investigation. Thanks
