OpenWrt Version: OpenWrt 21.02-SNAPSHOT r16399+171-c67509efd7
Kernel Version: 4.4.60

I follow OpenVPN Client - GL.iNet Router Docs 4 to set up openVPN client.

I am pretty sure that the Great Firewall of China will make it impossible to use well-known VPN services like Cyberghost. Some servers might work for some time, but all in all ... not really possible.

Standard ovpn does not work from China, unfortunately.

No. Does not work either.

You may need to use their smartphone app then share the connection to the router.

Use USB tethering or Repeater, connect the router to your phone, which has their app.

Those clients work mostly different to the routers client.

Personal hotspot sharing. When you enable that it will change to cellular and disable wifi connection.

Thanks, I disconnect my phone with WIFI, use cellular and open Personal hotspot.
After connect GL-AXT1800 to my phone, my phone display 1 device connected to the hotspot.
But still not stuck at connecting status.

Hey Alzhao, thanks , after a few retry, my GL_AXT1800 can connected to my phone.
And if I connect my laptop to GL_AXT1800 WIFI, my laptop have access to internet.
But my laptop can't access google or youtu, and my phone can.
Any further configuration is necessary?
BTW, my phone is very old, it's iphone7p(IOS15.8.2).
