eSIMs are not yet supported - speaking of installing the profile on some 5G router.
Tethering should work fine.
It is not regular eSIM

I need this functionality and with me much more people if they know the benefit of it. Can you consider making it available in your products. I already use a couple of them

Sorry, I don't work for GL - but afaik there is eSIM coming in next time.
Our router support, I have tested esim.me esim, it can work, but you need to use your phone to add esim profile.
And now, GL.iNet starts selling our own esim card, which can be managed directly with our router, if you have this requirement, you can buy and test it.
