eSIM fails to install in 2 out of 4 of my providers in Mudi7

Just got my Mudi7 and 2 out of my 4 eSIM providers will refuse the eSIM install on Mudi7 with an authentication failure. These eSIM QR install fine on regular phones.

I did try to change the IMEI to that of one of my phones (did the AT command dance and checked IMEI was now the phone one) but eSIM’s still failed to download and get installed.

Can anyone help?

And yes, QR codes are all fresh and not-used.

I was directed to this link in this forum Carriers supported by GL.iNet physical eSIM that lists what providers are actually eSIM compatible with Mudi7.

Hi,

I tested the Mudi7 with an eSIm from Yesim, and it worked, I only had to switch the APN.

are esims reliable ? i just like to stick with the hardware

Sure. eSIM’s are more reliable than physical as there are no moving parts. The tricky part maybe setting them up.

its a physical card but it is an esim. it worked in my splitz glx-3000 and works in the mudi7. i have it in sim 2 slot and have a calyx tmo card in slot 1. i did have an update that was pushed to the mudi7 i have…
