eSIM issues

Hi I've just installed a new eSIM profile which appeared to fail.

Spoke to the carrier who says it was successfully registered on their network. but I'm not seeing the profile in the eSIM management page.

I'm stuck now as the carrier won't reissue, they want me to delete the profile before re-issusing.

And if being honest, if I could see the profile, I probably wouldn't need it deleting.

Running AX-3000 4.7.4

Hi, please help us to get some information for further analysis:

  1. log in to the ssh terminal as instructed at SSH to the Router - GL.iNet Router Docs 3
  2. In the ssh terminal, run the following commands one by one and share the output with us for analysis
ps | grep lpa

curl -s -X POST -H 'Content-Type: application/json' -d '{"method": "prod"}' http://localhost:3456/sdk/v1

curl -k http://127.0.0.1/rpc -H 'glinet: 1' -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"call","params":["","system","get_info"]}'

If you are concerned about privacy information, you can send it via message. Thank you

We didn't see any esim profile installed on the router. Have you installed this esim profile on any other devices? Some esim profiles do not allow repeated installation

No the eSIM was bought and used immediately on this device alone.

Got it. May I know the esim carrier and the purchase link? We want to investigate eSIM installation failures.

I used Voxi who are actually a Vodafone UK company

I bought the cheapest plan they had, as I wanted to test the eSIM. I've previously used a physical SIM of theirs without issue

Voxi have offered to make the account a physical SIM so that I can get access, but I wanted to give you guys a chance to fix first if possible. After that I can convert to eSIM again, but I don't see the point in doing that, as I liked the idea of being able to change carriers etc remotely.

The eSIM installation failed due to incompatibility with the router. We will record this issue, but sorry there is no good solution at the moment. We’ve tested other esim services, here is the carrier list for reference: Carriers supported by GL.iNet physical eSIM

Thanks for your help. I've contacted the carrier and transferred the eSIM to a physical SIM and I'm all sorted.
