I bought a new prepaid sim and tried again. Yes, it seems to happen every time. After the PIN was entered I received a welcome SMS from ISP.
Hi, I am using the Mudi 7 (GL-E5800) without the battery installed or in another words, operate without battery. Can I confirm if a 20W USB-C PD power bank is sufficient to ensure stable operation under peak load, or does the device strictly require a 30W PD power source when the battery is removed?
Considering how well the battery life is, it wouldn't surprise me if 10W (5V/2A) would be able to run it w/o issue even at peak load
No, this is most definitely not a solution
It really does seem like it.
Can anybody with a Telefonica / O2 SIM card please double check and compare?
My Mudi 7 has always slow upload speeds when using a O2 Telefonica SIM card. (In average 5Mb/s while other devices are 17Mb/s-35Mb/s in average)
I compared it with 3 other routers plus my smartphone (same location and timing) to verify further. In total I did about 50 testcycles with 3 different provider SIMs, all on 5G NSA contracts (no 5G SA) - see screen shot below.
Anybody else experiencing the same? There is no issue when using Vodafone or Telekom SIM cards and download is fine as well.
I´m based in Germany. Not sure it is the same for other countries. I want to understand if it is a generic issue or one just on my specific device.
Thanks in advance
@bruce Can we fix the font? I received SMS messages but they're all as ******* characters.
Hello, what language did you use in your message? Is the web admin panel also showing as ****** characters?
Sorry currently the screen only supports the English language, and other languages may not be recognized and displayed properly. However, the web panel supports more language.
