Feature request: Wifi mesh mode for GL.iNet routers

I would like to set up a mesh network between my GL-X2000 Spitz Plus and my GL-BE3600 Slate 7. Both devices are connected via a LAN cable. I don't want to set the repeater mode for the working horse, the Slate 7; I'm looking for a seamless switching experience to the devices with the strongest signal throughout the house and garden.

Unfortunately, I can't see any mesh products from GL.iNet.

Hi, Currently, mesh networking is not supported. As an alternative, you can enable 802.11k/v/r to improve roaming performance between access points, while 802.11k and 802.11v are enabled by default. To enable 802.11r, open LuCI > Network > Wireless, click Edit next to the target SSID, and enable 802.11r Fast Transition in the WLAN Roaming section.
