Firmware 3.201, 3.203 Release Notes and Upgrade Q&A

@alzhao on the fw v. 3.105 guest IP tab is present on Brume-w

Screenshots v. 3.203 20210703

Tried 3.203 (0702 and 0703 snapshot, and beta6) on my MT1300 - all three builds fail to work with WiFi. No AP is created on boot, WiFi scanning (for repeater mode) doesn’t return anything, WiFi channel optimisation also fails.

Yes I confirm the last two builds are not working with MT1300

We have just found this problem. The WiFi driver has been adjusted and it is not compatible. I have deleted the version of MT1300 3.203_BETA4.

The issue is also present in the 0701, 0702 and 0703 snapshot versions, I’d recommend you delete those too.

Also, is there any chance we could get changelogs for the snapshot versions too, not just the betas? Would be nice to know what changed, even if it’s just a git merge history (e.g. a list of updated dependencies/firmwares)

If I flash 3.203_beta4 via uboot, do I need to delete files, folders and rm /etc/AdGuardHome/AdGuardHome?

Hi la3y:
If you want to keep the configuration upgrade, pelease rm /etc/AdGuardHome/AdGuardHome.

If I flash 3.203_beta4 via uboot, do I need to delete files, folders and rm /etc/AdGuardHome/AdGuardHome?

—> Upgrading via uboot does not keep the configuration. You can use Luci to save the configuration locally before upgrading, and then use Luci to restore the configuration once the upgrade is complete.

If I’m want clear install can I’m install from uboot whithout issues? If I’m install from uboot all data and config is lost correct?

Install from uboot will lose all data.

Hey glinet,

I tried the 3.203 (July 03 snapshot) for ap1300lte
qsdk-ap1300-3.203-0703.img

Can you please include following in the plugin list

collectd-mod-sqm
sqm-scripts
sqm-scripts-extra

Let me add to internal dev list

Any ETA on official release date?

Hi, added ipk sqm-scripts-extra & sqm-scripts, but compile collectd-mod-sqm failed. you can try if these two packages work as you need.

Hello and thanks hansome,

I uninstalled the old version and tried to install the new version of luci sqm, but installation failed, probably need collectd-mod-sqm too.

The above screenshot is the sqm plugins on my mudi. Can be installed and cake qos works.

Okay, thanks for report that. Newer version of sqm-script depends kmod-sched-cake, but cake qos’s not support by the old 4.4.60 kernel yet. We’ll check it’s possible to add kmod-sched-cake.

Just added kmod-sched-cake, opkg install sqm-scripts will be okay. luci-app-sqm_1.4.0 is not compatible so it’s removed. You can edit /etc/config/sqm to check if it works.

Did already one ore more than one of known bugs or feature requests fixed or realized ?
See the since deleting of gl bug tracker by user held bug and feature list:

If already one or more are fixed, it can be, one ore more user will spend his time and double check this.

By the way:

  • A lower count of known open bugs which are not fixed since month or years, can be possible a good idea for increase the sales. I guess, the customer and shareholder will like it.

I am having major problems with my 2 B1300 routers (Mesh) rebooting and losing wifi since the 3.20x betas. Example of log I was able to retrieve at reboot time (20:31:31):
