Currently on GL.iNet Firmware v4.7.11.

I'm getting mine tomorrow and I'm coming from the Flint 2, is there an easy way to transfer settings?
Migration configuration for different router models may cause some exceptions, you may try to manually brand-new configure in Flint 3
I'm still waiting mine to be shipped. Any changes in terms of the software?
Couple of things I've noticed.
It runs hot even when idle. I'm at 67c.
Also the load is very high unless you diaable network acceleration.
Hopefully these 2 will be addressed with future firmware.
Oh well :
Unknown package 'luci-app-ddns'.
Collected errors:
* pkg_hash_check_unresolved: cannot find dependency luci-lua-runtime for luci-app-ddns
* pkg_hash_fetch_best_installation_candidate: Packages for luci-app-ddns found, but incompatible with the architectures configured
* opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package luci-app-ddns.
As bruce mentioned, you want to avoid that as interface names are usually different between models and will wreck havoc on import. Just do a clean setup and save yourself the headache.
Yup, lots of pkgs have yet to built for this target.
Hopefully they have more built for 4.8 release.
2nd, seeing same behavior on mine as well
came here to post about this as well, it would be great if this could be made to work!
MLO only with wpa3? Long way to go Flint3
...
I have used GL-iNet Mango routers for years, In the past year I have been using two Beryl routers for VR. Over the years my primary routers have been Linksys and Netgear running Gargoyle (modified version of OpenWRT).
Today I happily received my Flint 3. Just a couple of quick observations. The router appears to be really well built. The configuration pages are basically the same as my other GL-iNet routers which is nice. I don't have a way to measure the temperature of the processor but the external case is not any warmer than my current Linksys WRT32.
My other primary routers have physical switches to turn them on and off, they also have indicator lights for things like: which hardwired port has a connection, which wifi bands are on, network traffic and a few more. I am really going to miss these features.
I purchased the Flint 3 to replace my current primary router. The main reason for this is that GL-iNet has a team of people supporting their routers and working on updates. I also love that they have a great forum and user community.
WPA3 is the only encryption option when in MLO.
Received the Flint 3 a couple of days ago and I like the build quality and the ease of use for what I need it for.
However i've noticed that it's considerably weaker in range than the Flint 2 and the ISP-provided router I have - under the same conditions, settings and room placement the Flint 2 will provide 600-900mbps of a 1GB connection across my small house while the Flint 3 will be at 150-550mbps. It also sometimes drops connection when used on a laptop downstairs whereas the Flint 2/ISP router have no issues.
I've never had a GL.iNet product at launch so hoping these are just teething issues that will be worked out over time.
I do also have rpi-r4 board with mlo, and there you can use wpa2/wpa3
Just noticed not all devices use wpa3 yet in my home, so migration to only mlo won't be an option now.
Anybody using the Flint 3 with a Yaosheng 12 volt adapter for starlink,
As soon as I plug the power in for the fint3 router the Yaosheng starts blinking it has a short circuit fault and shuts down,
Plug my flint 2 back in and all is well.
May I know how about your Flint 3 load status? Please SSH to the router: top
It seems that the power supply capacity may be insufficient.
Is the factory power supply normal for Filnt3 (and starlink)?
The same situation.
The same internet, location, cable etc. and
