GL-x3000 dropping cellular connection

Hi, I have a GL-x3000 that drops its cellular connection (SIM: GoMo ireland) for about a minute, every ~hour. It's a real problem since it kills my work zoom calls. I can still log in to the router when the internet goes down; during this time, on the main status page it says "The interface is connected, but the Internet can't be accessed."

Firmware: 4.0, 0704release5.

Module version: RM520NGLAAR03A03M4G

I have it connected to GoodCloud.

I upgraded the firmware during setup; reading some of the other threads here has me thinking this might have been a mistake!

There's the option of downgrading firmware; or the module. Any suggestions which? Ideally downgrading just the module would avoid reconfiguring the router from scratch. Or perhaps there's a non-downgrade solution?

Thanks in advance.

Hello @peterwhittaker

Network dropping might be caused by the cellular configuration, cell signal, etc.

  1. Pls go to Cellular ->Manual Setup to check whether the APN setting is correct
  2. Ensure all cellular antennas are connected properly.
  3. If above don't help, update your Spitz AX to beta v4.8 and try it again. Upon reviewing information on Gomo SIM, this problem might be related to the APN connection type.

Was rhe Apn settings on mine for EE i use

Thanks all. I've checked and the APN is correct. I've upgraded remotely to beta 4.8; will report back on stability!

All good?
