GL-X3000 revert to AGMS apn on ATT network

The GL-X3000 is set to passthrough mode and on the "Enhancedphone" APN on the AT&T network. This works great for 90% of the time except on 10% occasion when there is a power outage, it revert to AGMS apn. I have no idea where it got this apn from. Is there a way to prevent this switch?

Hello,

Please upgrade the latest beta firmware v4.7.1, and to observe if the APN settings curing.

the latest beta firmware crashes the router. It was able to establish a connection with the cellular tower, indicated by the green "globe" internet icon and the 5 bars signal strength on the router. However, it was not able to pass the IP to the Asus router (I use the GL-X3000 strictly as a modem in passthrough mode). About 3 minutes in after restart, the GL-X3000 is no longer accessible. I have to revert back to the stable firmware and everything works again.
I have saved the debug and syslog if needed.

Please send me this info via the PM.

Maybe we need to wait for the R & D to check this issue.

In the Passthrough mode, cannot pass the IP to other clients (such as PC) except the ASUS router?

Hello,

May I know how do you enable the feature 'passthrough'?
Is the router original firmware 2B custom firmware?

it was enabled with

url -k http://127.0.0.1/rpc -H 'glinet: 1' -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","method":"call","params":["","netmode","set_mode",{"mode":"passthrough","mask":"auto"}],"id":1}'

however this does not work anymore with the firmware 4.7.1

Hello,

After upgrading to v4.7.1, does the issue of APN changes when the router restarts reproduce?

the new firmware 4.7.1 seems to have fixed the APN change issue. So far it has not revert back to agms.
