Help with Setting Up VPN on GL-MT3000 (Beryl AX)

Hello Everyone,

I just purchased the GL-MT3000 (Beryl AX) and so far I love its performance and features. I’m pretty new with travel routers, and I need some help in setting up a VPN the right way.

I’m attempting to connect it to my WireGuard server that’s hosted at home. However, I keep running into trouble where the tunnel would not establish. The config file imports fine, I’m not sure I have missed something on the interface or the firewall settings. Also, do I need to allow DNS over VPN manually or does the router do this automatically?

MT3000 Beryl AX — No VPN settings

For some reason I don’t have a VPN tab. The router is new, just out of the box. I updated to the latest firmware but it didn’t help. [photo_2023-11-12_03-07-20] [photo_2023-11-12_03-08-22] How do I configure WireGuard Client ?

I’ve gone through cybersecurity & the official documentation and searched the forum about the topic, does anyone know how to learn cybersecurity but I couldn’t find anything that is specific to my situation.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance or troubleshooting help. If anyone has a working configuration of wireguard with the Beryl AX, I would love to see how you've set this up.

Just a quick question - are you attempting to connect while you're on the same network as your server?

Post your config file (with keys redacted of course)
