I have downloaded the latest snapshot for my Flint2, Slate7 and Beryl AX. The latest snapshot shows the addition/support of Amnezia WG. I would like to test it, however I don’t see any obvious configuration items to flick it on. Is it swapped by default? Or am I missing something? I would love to test it out.

Yes, the Amnezia WG client functionality is enabled by default. When you upload a profile file to the WireGuard VPN Client page, the system will automatically detect whether it is a standard WireGuard configuration file or an Amnezia WG profile, and will automatically invoke the corresponding service in the background.
If you are referring to the WireGuard VPN server functionality, you need to manually enable the “Obfuscation” option to provide Amnezia WG support.
ok, I am on the latest snapshot for my beryl ax, slate 7 and flint 2 and don’t see that obfuscation switch under Wireguard server.
The snapshot version should not yet fully support Amnezia WG.
At the moment, only specific beta firmware versions are available:
- For Beryl AX, please use v4.8.2 beta
- For Flint 2, please use v4.8.99 beta
- For Slate 7, there is currently no version that supports it yet
those will bring back your router to openwrt21, right ?
Yes, these firmware versions are built on the closed-source MTK SDK rather than the open-source OpenWRT 24.
For the open-source version, Amnezia WG is expected to be implemented after v4.9, together with the v4.9.x-op24/25 builds.

hey,
i installed on my VPS the AmneziaWG by the Amnezia APP.
The awg.conf contains some extra lines.
I1 = < ** lot of numbers**>
I2 =
I3 =
I4 =
I5 =
so the Beryl will not swallow it. If i remove the lines it client appears but will not connect.
is that because this lines makes it to AWG 2.0 ?
i guess we need to have to wait a bit more. Am i right ? // thx
Yes, I1–I5 were introduced in AmneziaWG 1.5.
We currently only support AmneziaWG 1.0.
You may need to wait until support for 1.5/2.0 is added in future updates.
For now, please try deploying an AmneziaWG 1.0 server on your VPS.

The Flint 2 snapshot does not yet support AmneziaWG.
The release note likely contains an error caused by an issue with our automation tools, and we’ll ask the team to look into it and fix it.
We may introduce support for AmneziaWG 2.0 on Flint 2 in a future beta release. However, the current v4.8.4 beta1 still has some issues that prevent it from being properly recognized, and the development team is actively investigating and working on a fix.
If there is a test firmware build for Flint 2 with AmneziaWG 2.0 support please share for testing.

As mentioned earlier, we previously tried to provide AmneziaWG 2.0 support on Flint 2’s v4.8.4 beta.
However, we encountered some issues that prevent the AmneziaWG client from functioning properly, and the development team is working on a fix.
It may only be available in the next beta firmware release.
Just a quick update—AmneziaWG 2.0 support for Flint 2 has been added in the 4.8.5 beta firmware.

In Luci? GL don’t use the native Luci/Openwrt WG/OpenVPN packages so you see this error on the Luci interface but it can be ignored it’s normal to see that issue there.
How can I configure point-to-point routing then? This is usually done in the interface settings, but the edit button is unavailable here.

The AXT1800 now also has beta firmware v4.8.3 with support for AmneziaWG 2.0.
