Ok, 1 by 1:
- Connect via SSH (Putty!) to your router
- Run
tcpdump -i eth2 -w debug.pcap
- Let it run for 1 minute
- Press CTRL+C
- Close Putty
- Open WinSCP and connect to router
- Navigate to the folder
/root/
on right side. - Download the
debug.pcap
file.
will the router's kernel log be of help instead?, pcap method is not successful
I have read the kernel log before and found that there are data packets coming in from your eth2 interface, so I need to capture the packets to see what type of data packets they are.
Thank you for your patience. I've followed the steps and managed to get the file. I will dm you shortly
Please DM @_zhang - he needs them
I have dmed the pcap file. Thanks in advance
Thanks, I have sent to @_zhang too
I've noticed that with depleted data, despite not having access to the general internet, I can access the carrier default website. Could this restricted access be what's deceiving the Flint 2?
Issue detected to be with 'low data mode' setting. Carried over to a dedicated thread with an appropriate topic.
