I can't access my cameras since updating to firmware 4.8.0

Hi community and Support team.
I have a GL.iNet GL-MT6000 (Flint 2) router, which I was using with firmware 4.7.7. It's behind an ISP router in bridge mode, which provides me with a dynamic IP address, so I use the DigitalOcean DDNS Script to update it (DDNS). I also use ProtonVPN services under the WireGuard protocol.

In addition to internet access, I have port forwarding configured to access 3 video cameras on my local network.

With firmware 4.7.7, I could access the cameras without problems from both my local and external networks.
The problem arises when updating to firmware 4.8.0 Beta or any version where multi-instance VPN was implemented.
I use the VPN in Police mode. With the VPN tunnels active, I can only access the cameras from my local network. To access them from a public network, I need to disable the VPNs. Again, this didn't happen with firmware 4.7.7.
I think it might be something related to the Firewall or Routing.

Thank you very much in advance.

Right! Version 4.8.0 is completely screwed up.

Hi,

My test topology is:

MT6000 with v4.8.1 (snapshot) and v4.8.0-op24 (beta) as the test router, and the policy rules are similar with your screenshoot:

When MT6000 enabled the VPN tunnels in policy mode, my phone is able to access the MT6000 GL GUI and the Web server by MT6000 WAN IP + port.

How to reproduce this issue about unable to access the MT6000 LAN clients by WAN public IP?
If possible, could you please share the MT6000 with us to check through GoodCloud?

Please PM me the MT6000 MAC address and Web UI login password.

Hi,

We have reproduced this issue, the pppoe of WAN is required, others have not changes, only change the WAN dhcp to pppoe.
Will submit to R&D to check!

Not required to share the GoodCloud. Thanks!

Hi Bruce,

Thank you for reproducing the problem and working on its solution. I hope the R&D team can resolve it soon.

With this latest snapshot dated 8-14-25, I confirm that the WAN access problem has been solved. However, the GoodCloud UI still doesn't work, even with a clean installation. I appear to be connected but cannot access the page.

Please try to remove this router in the GoodCloud platform list first, and re-bind the Cloud services in GL GUI.

It's solved now. Someone from the staff reset parameters in GoodCloud, and by following the procedure you indicated, I was able to re-bind. Thank you.

Hi,

The latest firmware v4.8.1 has resolved this issue.
Please update to the latest firmware version for MT6000/Flint2.
