Is my setting appropriate?

I have 2 Beryl AX.
Purpose of my use is to travel around the world, yet, need my PC to show as if I am home.
My network setting looks like this;
-Home: Modem(provided by ISP) + Beryl AX(wireguard server setup as well as port forwarding from ISP modem)
-Travel: Beryl AX(wireguard client setup. My PC connects to this to show that I’m always home)

Is this overkill? Or something missing?

That's exactly how to do it. See Build your own WireGuard Home Server with two GL.iNet Routers - GL.iNet Router Docs 4

It’ll work.

Use case: I used the Admin GUI settings to change the Security page HTTPS port to 4433, and then changed the OpenVPN server to TCP/443. I wanted to use OpenVPN over TCP/443 since most internet providers don’t block TCP/443 (https), and because OpenVPN has two factor authentication by using something I have, the .ovpn certificate file, and something I know, the username/password. Also, the OpenVPN app on my mobile Windows, iOS and Android devices worked better than the any WireGuard app did on them. I didn’t take my AR750S router with me overseas since I just used the VPN clients to connect to my Brume 2 VPN at home. I’ve since upgraded to the Flint 2 and gave my Brume 2 to another family member who travels overseas at least once or twice a year, and they love using the VPN since web pages don’t show the native language in the country they are in. Not to mention they now have AdGuard enabled on their home network now as well.
