CRontab is located in OpenWRT UI. Go to advance settings and log into UI, ounce there click the Systems Tab and go to schedule tasks. (More then likely there is nothing there) like wcs2228 suggested you will need to play with the settings of the Multi-WAN (mwan3) in the GL.iNet UI.

Multi-WAN is still enabled. For each WAN connection, only the interval/number of tries settings can be changed in the “gear” icon on the right side. I think the mwan3 service would have to be turned off from starting up to disable it, but I do not know if that would break something else.

It appears that the log messages are “normal” with Firmware 4.4.5 because I did not upgrade my GL-MT2500 and do not get the log messages. Personally, I would just leave them alone and ignore the messages.

The prompt message “Sun Aug 27 13:10:00 2023 cron.err crond[4002]: USER root pid 10246 cmd ./lib/functions/modem.sh;check_ip” itself is not an error, but a problem with the loglevel setting of cron (it It should be an INFO level information), we have fixed this problem in the current firmware, but we need to upgrade it without saving the configuration, or reset after the upgrade; of course, it can also be fixed by manually entering the following command in the device background:
uci set system.@system[0].cronloglevel=“10”
/etc/init.d/gl_timer restart

From “root@router” it looks like your firmware is not glinet’s standard firmware

Hi!
I rebooted my router after the command: uci set system.@system[0].cronloglevel="10".
After the reboot, there is no mention of cron.err crond in the logs anymore.
Just want to let you know that the command /etc/init.d/gl_timer restart doesn’t work.
