Same here fedex but I’m not at home when they deliver not sure how FedEx handle this. (Need pay customs)

Mostly, FedEx will pay the customs for you and send you an invoice letter later.
It’s +30% of the customs (at least 5 EUR) for this service. (see)

The fees for fedex are actually 15 Euro for goods of a value of 50-600 Euro. Similar for UPS and DHL.
I can’t quite make heads or tails of the FedEx table for Germany. For me, duty/tax means the expected tax - not the value of the goods. But be that as it may: FedEx pays and the recipient pays FedEx afterwards

addtional to that it seems we will need to pay fedex a Fee. Since the router price is between 50-600 Euros the FedEx Fee seems to be 15 Euro. (man thats high)
17,67 + 15 = 32,67 Euro extra fees on the router price
man thats more than i expected.
can i avoid this super high FedEx fee?

Even in the German version, it’s not about the price of the goods; just about the duties.
So I would guess it will be 17,67 + 30% (~5,30) = ~22,97 EUR

I asked Gl-Inet to send by DHL Express so I can forward it to a packstation or post office because I’m most of the week not at home. FedEx does not have any shop or packstation system.
