So too for me! I have an 8 port 2.5 gig switch with only one spare port for testing / ad hock connections at my desk - two 1 gig ports on the current router and one 2.5 gig going on the router (not a Gl.Inet) to the switch so having a router with 8 ports will be fantastic…..
If there is no MESH then an access point configured to the 802.11r standard will work for me and from this post:-
it seems there is little to no difference between MESH and 802.11r anyway… (assuming it will be the same as the Flint3).
In addition the the above if the 4 will be the same or better than the 3, the IoT, and the Content filtering, simple MLO setup… It can’t get much better than that.
