Microphone issues on LAN

I am testing microphone on local network and I have noticed that there are several-second interruptions in the microphone.

I have tested this on both built-in microphone and external microphone.

Also I have noticed that no matter what mic I use there is always few seconds delay until the mic starts recording. Also when i take a break from talking and resume it also takes few seconds for microphone do start working.

Here is a voice recording. On red I highlighted all mic interruptions:

The issue does not occur when I directly connect microphones to remote machine.

The update 1.8.1 in beta should include a fix for the microphone audio quality RM1/RM10: V1.8.1 Beta1 is currently under testing
but I am not sure to what extent and if includes this issue. Would be nice to have more info

Just upgraded to 1.8.1 beta1 and no change so far. Mic mode is useless so far.

lol, I also haven’t used it so far due to poor quality. But I believe it is something they can fix in the future

Run in to the exact same issue on Mac using chrome. It takes a couple seconds before the remote mac to pick up the input and then will sporadically go out again, especially if I mute/unmute the mic. Makes it too unreliable to use for teams meetings which is my only use case

I have just updated firmware to current version and the issue still occurs. I cannot identify the reason, why its happening.
Unfortunately using microphone via GLKVM is not reliable, even on LAN.
Is it hardware issue related to GL-RM1 Comet or its a firmware problem?
If issue is related only with GL-RM1 then I will buy GL-RM10. I just need a reliable device with mic stream.
