Hey there, I have a MUDI that can’t connect to AT&T - there’s a thread that says the old fix isn’t needed but it seems that’s related to a firmware update on the modem. Router connects just fine to T-Mobile BTW.

In the control panel it’s showing Modem Name EP06ALAR02A08M4G

I followed this tutorial for my Mudi E750v2 but stayed blocked at 99%:

gl_modem AT AT+QGMR

returns:

Modem is not exit.Please make sure bus.

I did a factory reset and retried. Same result.
Now my modem is not detected any more. I cannot restore the modem firmware at 100% so my router is unusable with 4G!

WHAT SHOULD I DO? Thanks for your help.

Could the modem be bricked??

Yes i have tried to upgrade the modem firmware.,without success. I am afraid the quectel 4g modem is broken.

See the output in my first post in this thread. . It stops always at this last line, like frozen. I have to ctrl+C to get the hand again even after long minutes :

With one dot instead of three like on the upgrade tutorial.
If I can change the modem or hard flash it, with a bit explained , tell me. It is OK.

But What a confusion! Why is the Upgrade Quectel Module Software - GL.iNet Router Docs 4 making us install the QFirehose-ar9531-sha256-7383f4 or QFirehose version???????
