I am curious if there is a way to monitor clients connected to a travel router, which is connected by VPN to a home router, using Bark parental controls on the home router.
Here is my current setup:
- Flint 3 has firmware 4.8.4 and Slate 7 has firmware 4.8.3
- Flint 3 is connected with LAN (PPPoE) and Slate 7 is usually connected with WiFi repeater.
- TailScale is set up with the Flint 3 as an exit node per How to Configure GL.iNet Router to host Tailscale Exit Node. (I also have GoodCloud site-to-site, AstroWarp, and Wireguard set up; I want to try to set this up with Tailscale, but I’m willing to use whichever VPN might work best with Bark)
- Flint 3 is using the local ISP’s DNS server. I have not changed DNS settings for Slate 7.
- Flint 3 (10.0.1.x) and Slate 7 (10.0.8.x) each use DHCP.
Thank you.
