With 4.8.3 after some testing:

Using my ISP STB everything start smooth but after some time (10 min) all TV channels starts to freeze and returning errors for multicast connection.

Teste with cable and WiFi.

Downgrading to 4.7.7 and everything works perfectly.

I my opinion 4.7.7 is very very stable

Yes I have rolled back to 4.7.7 too, on 4.8.3 my 5GHz 160MHz wifi drops out then gets stuck on scanning for free channel and I have to reboot the router.
I wish there was an easy way to disable the “Update your firmware” messages

Yup. 4.7.7 is very stable to me. All features works perfectly!!

Nope, it was a bug in the 4.7.7(maybe also in the 4.8.2 and I don’t know if it’s still there in the 4.8.3)

Ooh yees

Hello,

Sorry for the inconvenience.

The driver version of v4.8.3 is the same as v4.7.7. In theory, the underlying driver of v4.8.3 is the same.

In case of an issue, please:

  1. Check whether the network situation of other clients is normal?
  2. Please check it in the PC: ping 192.168.8.1, ping 8.8.8.8, ping www.google.com nslookup www.youtube.com, nslookup www.x.com

If no luck, please share your router with us via GoodCloud, we would like to remote check your router.

Please PM me your router MAC address and the Admin Panel password.

Hello,

If you upgrade the Flint 2 to v4.8.3 now, will the issue still reproduce?
We would like to check how long it takes for DFS to avoid and search for channels after it encounters radar signal interference? Is it always stuck in the search?

Please export the issue syslog.
