Just log into the router (ssh) around the time you would expect an increased load and watch the processes (ps) to see what it firing up the CPU to be causing the unit to heat up.
good tip, and will try.. just checked the CPU data @ that specific time, and that seems to be normal, the peaks i see is mainly Adguard activity.. around 16:00, while the temp peak is starting at 00:00.
Probably it's AdGuard updating the filters every 24h.
If you have too many filters, the processing will be very high.
possible, but i thought you can see that in the syslog.
But it was indeed set on 24H, and changed it now t 7 days, see if it works.
Thxs.
Running beta with OP24 (due to issues with WDS on non OP24 builds) - I really wish you fixed this so the Flint 2 & Slate AX worked with WDS with the standard (non-OP24) firmware builds since you seem to support that faster / better. Here however are a few crash logs for you for the OP24 builds:

I did what you said and tried option 2 and 3 and it did not resolve the wifi speed issues. Even when I am standing right next to the router I am still capped at 120mb...
Are we sure the client can manage a higher speed?
What is the Brand / Model of the client device?
Yes it is a flint 2 I only bought it a month ago. The client is MacBook M2 and Google pixel 9 pro fold
4.7.0-op24 is using Open Source WiFi driver.
4.7.4 is using closed source driver.
And you are seeing problem on both. That's quite weird.
@bruce, any idea?
Strange. I use 4.7.0-op24 since a few weeks and I get up to 1 Gbits/sec 6 meters from the router through 3 brick walls.
When your 120 mb means 120 Mbytes/sec that is equivalent to 960 MBits/sec.
I’ve noticed hardware acceleration is enabled on the gl-iNett gui but not enabled on the openWRT gui, should it carry over to the openWRT firmware so both are enabled?
Hello,
Please let me know how to reproduce this log print, we did not reproduce about running 3 days and not find these in the syslog.
Not sure, sorry, please let me know the name of the plugins you need, we will compile and supplement these.
Please let me know the test firmware version.
Please SSH to the router, and execute this command:
cat /proc/kmsg& logread -f&
Re-connect WiFi for the clients, and export the syslog and PM it to me.
I have sent you a PM. Another note is, when i upgrade to 4.7.0 OP24, one of my 5GHz networks stop allowing the pixel to connect to it it just fails. I just changed the wifi mode to 11n/ac/ax from 11ac/ax and that resolved that issue.
I’m trying to installeer this beta on my Beryl AX, because I’m facing issues with adguard on 4.7.0. But via browser and GLInet app the update doesn’t come trough. I get no error on my screen, just when i reconnect to the router it still is on 4.7.0 release 3. I;m updating from my iPhone and iPad. I am on holiday, so i don’t have an pc with me. but i did the local update before without any issues.
We don't actually need to merge this patch, we just fixed the hash when build the image every time.
@bruce after doing more tests on the 4.7.0op24 firmware version I am getting fast speeds on my Mac and pixel on 5GHz. On 2.4GHz the speeds are really slow only.
What did you change to have the speed back to normal?
2.4GHz networks is always slower than 5GHz
What do you mean by "really slow"? 5Kbps? 1Mbps? 100Mbps? 250Mbps?
All I did was reboot the router it then started working getting 600-700mbps 5GhZ and 50-100mbs on 2.5Ghz
