OK, loads of similar threads on here but no solutions that work, as far as I can. At least, none that work for me.
SIM is Three UK, and only connects to LTE. I tried band masking (blocking all) but the SIM won’t register.
I tried tower locking - good signal, no connection.
Tried AT+QNWPREFCFG="mode_pref",NR5G - still connects to LTE.
Tried switching modem to USB mode (from PCiE) AT+QCFG="data_interface",0,0, - still can’t connect to 5G NSA.
Has anyone got 5G working in the UK, particularly with a Three SIM?
Note: I can see two 5 bar Three towers when I scanned. Modem firmware version: RM520NGLAAR03A03M4G
