Router’s original interface no longer available - 2

The first version of this topic can be found here:

After trying to repeat the procedure decribed in the old thread to fix the same issue with a second router, I had to open this (new) thread, because there does not seem to be any firmware anymore on the page at
GL.iNet download center (which is now automatically fowarded to a URL that includes the subdirectory "stable")

A search for firmware AR750 leads to other pages, the URLs I cannot mention in this post (limited to 2 URLs), but most of those pages also end up linking back the aforementioned page, and the end result is that I cannot download the firmware.

So the question is now, "where can I download the latest firmware for AR750?"

Thanks again in advance for relevant advice.

Hello,

Which one version firmware did you want? I try to download it and share to you via other URL.

Accidentally deleted my reply. :frowning: Let's try that again (next post)

Thanks for the offer, @bruce - here is the information I have:

Router with the oldrer firmware (and the interface issue):

|Hostname|GL-AR750|
|Model|GL.iNet GL-AR750|
|Architecture|Qualcomm Atheros QCA9533 ver 2 rev 0|
|Firmware Version|OpenWrt 19.07.10 r11427-9ce6aa9d8d / LuCI openwrt-19.07 branch git-22.099.58928-786ebc9|
|Kernel Version|4.14.275|

Router with the updated firmware (working fine):

|Hostname|GL-AR750|
|Model|GL.iNet GL-AR750|
|Architecture|Qualcomm Atheros QCA9533 ver 2 rev 0|
|Target Platform|ath79/nand|
|Firmware Version|OpenWrt 22.03.4 r20123-38ccc47687 / LuCI openwrt-22.03 branch git-23.093.57104-ce20b4a|
|Kernel Version|5.10.176|

So I guess I'll need version 22.03.4 unless there is a newer one...
Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Since these are the openwrt and kernel info, Sorry I cannot learn about what GL firmware version.

If you require to get one of the GL firmware, please let me know the GL version on the GL GUI > SYSTEM > Upgrade

Hi again,
I cannot do that check with the router without the GL CI, but the previously updated router shows the following information:

 Current Firmware
    Version 4.3.18
    Firmware Type release1
    Compile Time 2024-08-23 14:53:25(UTC+08:00)

So I imagine I should install Version 4.3.18 on the other router, as well, unless you can provide a newer version that I would then install on both routers...

Thanks again.

@gulkun did you tried to reset it? Hold "reset" button for ten or more seconds. It must help

Hi @wmel, yes. When I use the reset button the router reboots and moves righ to LuCI, and all the network settings have been reset to their default settings.

@gulkun so there is only way to Uboot
