Spitz plus glx 2000 plus

Hello everyone, new to forum and have a couple of questions. So apologies . Please note I'm not techie. Plug and play works for me and total novice to esims.

I am thinking of purchasing the Spitz plus glx 2000 to replace our current Huawei b535, which is a full time installation in our motorhome. The reason for replacement is the ability to purchase the simpo yo esim and access the internet whilst touring Europe.

Questions

  1. The simpo yo comes with 1gb US/EU + 100mb global data. Does this mean useable data upon installation.
  2. Can I top up the simpo yo card (a). Via GLi or (b). Use third party. If yes to (a) then could you provide method and cost.
  3. Checking on the forum there appears to be a number of esim providers that do not work with simpo yo esim adaptor. How can I check compatibility before purchasing.
  4. My current router is hard wired via a 12v stabilizer, Will this be acceptable with the Spitz plus.

Many thanks in anticipation,

TheKays

I use a glinet EIOT Physical ESIM with Spitz Plus in UK (similar functions like SIMPoYo eSIM Physical Card)

I can confirm that it works with Lebara UK eSIM and with LycaMobile UK eSIM.

If you use it in other part of Europe, then you can buy a local eSIM and install it on SIMPoYo eSIM Physical Card (I also tested it with an Orange/Yoxo Romania local eSIM and it was working well)

Hi

Please refer to our response below:

  1. Yes, the SIMPoYO eSIM Physical Card comes with pre-loaded 1GB U.S./EU + 100MB Global Data, valid for 1 year.

  2. Yes, you can top up the pre-loaded Seed Profile.
For the method, please refer to: How to use eSIM Physical Card with GL.iNet Routers - Top-up
For information regarding providers and pricing, please visit: Plans - Simcard Glinet.

  3. You can check the compatibility list before purchasing: Carriers Supported by GL.iNet Physical eSIM

  4. The input voltage range for the Spitz Plus is DC 9V-36V, with a maximum power of approximately 14W. Therefore, if your voltage/power output is within this range, it will work without issue.

Excellent response, huge thanks. Just purchased the router and esim adapter. Looking forward to getting it all installed ready for our next trip to France and Spain. Many thanks again for the excellent support.

Sorry but more questions. Hope you can help or advise. I purchased the Spitz plus glx 2000 and sympo esim. I have been through all the approved esim suppliers on your list.

My search criteria is for unlimited usage as we are high users (TV, Radio, Sat Nav, Phones and Tablets.

A number of the suppliers do offer unlimited but they all seem to have limited high speed usage (5gb) before throttling back to an extremely slow unusable speed.

So questions.

Are there any approved suppliers for gli/sympo esim that do unlimited data without reduction in speeds, or have a higher high speed usage before reducing speed.
