Hi I have the Slate AX and it was working fine for about two weeks until this morning when it says ‘The client is starting, please wait…’ This has persisted for hours now. I tried rebooting the router and still nothing. I am using NordVPN

can you share full connect log? you can export it in SYSTEM->LOG

I actually switched to Mullvad yesterday and all has been fine

You rock! Fixed it right up for me. For anyone reading this, the Nord VPN name/pass is not your account name/pass. It’s different. Get it from the Manual Configuration section on Nord’s website.

I am currently having this issue. I am using PIA.
It is showing "The client is starting, please wait..." endlessly. I have also tried rebooting, deleting and re-entering the config and still getting the same issue.

Please check How to troubleshoot WireGuard, check the status of PIA server itself. Mostly the issue isn't with the router.
