USB wireless antenna stopped working

The router is a Brume and the antenna is a TP-Link Archer T2 Plus.

Wi-fi has been working nicely for a long time, and for some reason has stopped working.

Wireless Overview reads

Generic 802.11 Wireless Controller
Channel: ? (? GHz) | Bitrate: ? Mbit/s

and when a network is enabled, it reads

Wireless is not associated

What are the things to check now?

you can unplug and replug the wifi dongle and check if it works.

Then get the log by ssh to the router and using the following command

logread
dmesg

from dmesg

opkg tells me nothing is upgradable if that helps

Update: plugged the TP-Link dongle into a windows pc and it worked nicely.

The LED on the antenna doesn’t blink when plugged into the Brume.

It does seem like the USB hubs on Brume are working ok, since the logs know the dongle is being plugged in.

From the log, it dongle is not supported.

USB hubs generally do not need a extra driver to work.

The dongle had support added by this .ipk file, has it been dropped since?

I opkg installed the ipk again and re-plugged the dongle. logread has more errors now.

I’ve had no wi-fi for half a month now, any ideas?

If you are using multiple wireless interfaces, you can check that working by leaving one and disabling it.
Also, the transmission may be restricted even with a combination of non-interfering channels, so only use 1, 6, 11 be preferred for 2.4GHz.
