Absolutely! If you run into the same problem, please report back here with a screenshot of the login page (or pricing page if you get that) and the name of the carrier. I'm not sure if it's carrier based or specific plane-based, but I never have any problems on any other plane with wi-fi, so this will help narrow things down. If you don't have any issues, it may be the carrier issue with that plane. If you do, it's probably the Wi-Fi on the max. Thanks

Which airplane was it? I was trying to narrow down if it's just plane specific or company.

Did you have any success @buntspext?

Not yet. I am still staying job related ;-/

I tried again this past week. All is good on every plane I've tried EXCEPT for the 737 Max. I got this message saying to turn off private relay! Surely someone has figured this out.

This web page is the normal web page from United website, which means, if you try unitedwifi.com if not on the plane, it will go to this page. It seems that you already have normal Internet and have private relay (aka icloud private relay) on. I am not sure if the private relay (includeing vpn) actually works because basically the air plane wifi blocks these protocols.

So it seems that the airplane wifi does not redirect the unitedwifi.com to the portal page for some reason. Check all of your vpn, dns, private relay settings and check if there is any solution.

I was on 787 and tried several routers and all good. Not yet on 737.

That is one of the pages that you can get to. However, it is NOT the "normal" webpage when trying to log on with the Beryl MT300 while on the plane. I was NOT testing this while "off" of the plane. I was on the plane and spent quite a while trying to get it to work and it just doesn't on the 737. I NEVER get that (above) while traveling on ANY other airplane, except fo the 737. At the time, I was NOT logged on to the internet (I was trying to get logged on). After I gave up and logged on without the Beryl, everything worked just fine. The 737 and the Beryl is just not a good match apparently. That is why I'm trying to see if anyone is able to log on while on a 737 Max, or if the developers have a fix/suggestion.

I'm not sure if you read what I posed above, but there are two screenshots of before and after. If I get a "before your flight" followed by a pricing screen, it's not working. If I get to the "stay connected" screen, it's going to work 100%.

I totally understand what you are talking about. Just guessing what is the possible reason that you are not redicted to the portal page on the plane, but a normal page from Internet.

I had the same problem with a Beryl MT3000 on two Southwest airlines flights in the last month. Both were 737 Max.

I’ve got a flight towards the end of May… looks like it’s a Boeing 737-900 flying Delta. I’ll test my MT3000 and see if I have similar experience. I’ll bring my AXT1800 as well, since it’s my primary EDC. First business flight in a while for me; but have been watching the thread here…

Most of the issues appear to be with United; so we will see if Delta has similar issues… I don’t fly United very often… Delta has the most nonstop flights in my area.

You might have been tracked by your provider through TTL. When there's a change in TTL in the traffic, access may be blocked, and this can be affected when using a router to repeater Wi-Fi. Try setting the router's TTL and see if it helps
