The NTP servers are not unreachable. NTP requests are being ignored because CONNMAN 1.44 is bombarding them during initialization. Confirmed with Wireshark/TCPDUMP. CONNMAN 1.45 reportedly addresses that.

I have a firewall rule to redirect all outbound NTP requests to a local GPS+PPS NTP server.

We are primarily concerned with whether the time has been correctly synchronized; the complete and accurate response to all NTP protocol messages is only a secondary consideration.

So when CONNMAN 1.44 bombards NTP servers, the servers stop responding, thus CONNMAN can never synchronize time. The problem is reportedly fixed in CONNMAN 1.45

Well then ConnMan is the worst choice for synchronizing time. Give us NTP back and the ability to neuter ConnMan time synchronization. Because all it does it pollute NTP servers and never synchronizes time.

The only way I can get ConnMan to synchronize time to the use an IPTABLES rule to block all non port 123 traffic, wait 10 seconds, then remove the IPTABLES rule.

Having a lot of microphone issues. Most of the time I cant get it to work but sound is fine.

Losing wired connection every day now overnight after a daily session. The next day I cannot connect, and the box just flashes white light. Never had a problem with this until this latest release.

I implemented a permanent FW rule to block the GLRM1 from internet access. Too much traffic phoning home and bombarding public DNS/NTP servers.

The following happens after update to v1.7.
On one device going from Smart mode to Normal disables both keyboard and mouse. Unplugging USB-C is not resolving it. Device’s reboot via the browser does resolve the issue. Not reproducing on another device.

Another issue. I updated to v 1.7 and the microphone initially appeared as comet microphone instead of with Logitech ( the USB override). Earlier bug in previous version was it used to appear as sink.

Only after some struggle and uninstalling the previous microphone from device manager did it correct itself to Logi…

How do I provide that? I looked at the options and they are all logs since boot. When the device goes offline, I am not able to get into it to get them before a restart.

I have the same problem with v1.7 release 1, losing wired connection. I cannot connect, and the box just flashes white light. I have to restart the device to connect again. Also the the router shows that the device is not connected.

Are you sure it's the keyboard and mouse that aren't working, and not the screen being frozen?I have seen similar issues when switching from normal mode to smart mode on Firefox, fixed by triggers a webpage refresh.

Yes, we changed the default microphone's name to Comet Microphone.On RM1, this name cannot be changed. If you see it altered, it's merely an operating system bug or a caching issue.

Can you try to see if setting a static IP without using DHCP will encounter this issue?
