Thank you Alzhao, but I’m pretty sure that when I disable the VPN and reboot the router, the DDNS is updated with the client real IP. As soon as I bring UP the VPN, some minutes after that, the DDNS is updated with VPN server IP address.
I have just set up MT300N-V2 with ddns and wireguard. I will wait and check if the ddns will be updated to server IP.

Tried today, i.e. 16 hours later, ddns IP does not change.
Update: now I have the same problem and the ddns updated to vpn server.

It is a bug. It should be brought up by mwan3. The bug is filed and waiting for a fix.
