Will Huawei E3372 work?

Ive tried setting it up manually but it wont get a ip address, the same was reported years ago, please read this: Huawei E3372h-153 not showing up in Brume 2 Webgui

Seems it was working on older few but is broken after 2.27x

Something is blocking it getting a ip address.
