Maybe you can test RM520NGLAAR01A08M4G_01.203.01.203
if it performs better than R03 branch?
What is the difference between branches?
Hi misuzu, where do you get RM520NGLAAR01A08M4G_01.203.01.203
?
I found a github link but that version is not available.
From Quectel themselves:
I flashed RM520NGLAAR01A08M4G_01.203.01.203 last night. This morning cellular connection was still stable. But this afternoon it reverted to the dreaded "Your SIM card has not been detected. Please check that the card has been inserted correctly and that the contacts are clean". Here's my debug log:

Check to see if it's switched to another slot
I think its not module related problems since it won't do anything to the SIM until told so (switching sim using QUIMSLOT)
So i loaded the r03 201. Even after successful load, it would not see my sim. I then took the router out of my RV and placed it in my A/C House to let it cool for 5 minutes, then put it back in the RV, and got the sim to read no problem. I think the modem card cant handle the heat? My themostat in the RV said it was around 120F.
Must admit as a moderately tech-savvy person, I do find this a bit intimidating. Downloading now at 15%, fingers are crossed.
What temperature does it measure? Modem module or router chip? For modem module, 60c and below is the recommended temperature even though the operational temp is way higher. Going above 60c on our testing produces stutters and drops.
The temperature of the cpu chip here
Just a suggestion, but I think its better if it also tracks the Modem temperature (AT+QTEMP)
I can't take it anymore either. I have a spitz at home and a spitz in the truck and a spitz at my uncle's house and they all drop the internet connection I have Network acceleration turned off I'm sick of this. It keeps happening and happening and always has.
And I know it's the Spitz because I have another router with T-Mobile so I can turn off my Spitz remotely to force it to reboot the other router never drops connection I have a spitz router in my truck I have a spitz router at home and I have a spitz router at my uncle's and they all drop the connection what is it?
Also confirming that I am still seeing the issue as well. I went a few weeks without an incident but it has happened twice now in the past two days.
@Sanangtxan and @silvercreek Do you have "Interface Status Tracking Method" enabled on the cellular interface uner Multi-WAN? If so, try disabling that and see if your problem clears up.
Yes, I did have this enabled. I have just disabled it to test and confirm if it works. Fingers crossed, thanks for the suggestion.
