Resurrecting an old thread here. My Flint (v1) AX1800 one day stopped broadcasting Wi-Fi. This was documented in this thread: Flint AX1800 All Wi-Fi Clients Disconnected (3.216, v4.1)
I originally was on v3.216, then performed an online firmware update to v4.1 without Uboot. The issues remained for years.
I’ve just now updated the Uboot using these instructions: Flint (GL-AX1800) Latest firmware - #4 by K3rn3l_Ku5h
And updated to v4.8.3 using the Uboot file (no transfer of firmware settings).
When I turn on Wi-Fi, I still see no SSID broadcast. There’s nothing to connect to.

Did I use the wrong update procedure? I initially updated from v3.x to v4.x by only uploading the firmware in the interface. But I then tried to get to v4.8.3 by first updating the Uboot (is there a newer version than the one I used?) and then by using the Uboot firmware updater.
Any other advice? Thank you
@will.qiu I can see your message in my email but not here.
Could you please clarify your network setup and details of issues?
-
Is the AX1800 the only wireless router in your network?
-
Or is the AX1800 acting as the main router, with an additional AP connected to it, so that the iPhone and Pixel 5 are connecting through the AP and obtaining IP addresses from the AX1800?
After the Wi-Fi wasn’t broadcasting, I added another wireless router behind the Flint in AP mode. The Flint sees these phones as connected by ethernet.
Thank you
