Meet Flint 2 (GL-MT6000 )

Great thanks  . Thank you for clarifying.

If you contact the GL-Inet support you can choose between UPS, DHL Express and Fedex for the delivery.

No problem…I don’t have my Flint2 yet and won’t for some time. I’m pre-order and mine as far as I know is still sitting in the parts bins in Shenzhen and when they do ship it it’s marked as coming via U.S. Postal System (in the order email)…So I don’t know if that means they have an amount that will ship to the U.S. and then have to clear customs and then sent onward? But I’m confident that I’ll have it by INDEPENDENCE DAY. (July 4th)

oooh, I thought that you were one of the beta testers. I automatically filled in that bevause you were keeping track of the beta releases, you must be a beta test. Hopefully you have you device soon! Mine just arrived, but I’m still at work :(.

GL-iNet probably use FedEx/DHL to deliver to the border, after passing customs, US Postal System will continu the delivery.

I already had 3 kernel crashes. Using the beta firmware. Do you know where i can share the crashlogs?

Is there any firmware you can recommend for stability, specially of the Wifi?

I had not even one, using 4.5.3r1 as well.
What wifi settings do you use?

5GHz Wifi - 160 MHZ - Autochannel, Security: Open
2,4 GhZ Wifi,- Channel 1 - Security: Open

I changed the 5Ghz settings to 80Mhz WiFi, maybe its more stable

For those lucky people who already have their Flint 2…Don’t forget that the Flint2 already has SNAPSHOT Firmware being posted almost daily on the official Open-WRT website,

Mine is up and running for about 4 hours. Haven’t had any problems. WPA3, 160MHz at max power works fine.

Hi, do any of you know if its possible that my package will be delivered by FedEx to Europe with no fees? Its scheduled for delivery for tomorrow and I have no not received any invoices and the tracking doesn’t also mention anything.

Nope, shouldn’t be possible.
I received my invoice before the delivery - but if you don’t receive it before, you will get it after delivery (or you have to pay during the delivery)

Exactly, some logistics companies send you an invoice or payment link as soon as the package enters the country, others after delivering the package and others will ask you for payment at the door.

Behold the taxes in Brazil. I paid USD120 ONLY with taxes. The router final price is USD 89 + USD 120 = USD 209

Oh no. I wonder pay more taxes if I ordered 2x Routers ($258) :see_no_evil::see_no_evil: could be over total +Ā£300

Counterpoint: Mine did

FedEx sent me no invoice, was delivered on Monday, Super Early Bird, Europe.
(Still no invoice)

Just wait, don’t be too happy too early.

I remember about a delivery from the US to Germany where the invoice came by snail mail like 2 weeks later…

Mine finally arrived today after few issues with FedEx - They ignored my previously changed delivery address despite sending me confirmation that it has been changed. Then when I contacted them they changed the street but not the city so it could not be delivered and it went back to central hub several hundred kilometers away, while distance between two delivery addresses was only 47km.

I also asked about the invoice and they said that it can take up to 2 weeks for them to issue it.

I did not expect it to be so relatively compact for what it offers. I previously had Netgear R7800 and R9000 and they were both bigger.

Impressive 1,5Gbit/s over 5GHz AX with Intel AX210 at 5m distance.

Man, I wish you had of had it delivered a few days ago! I was on the fence after some reviews said that the WiFi range was poor. That plus theres some posts on the Chinese GL.iNet forums about the router maxing out at 100 Mbps when using 2.4 GHz and there also seems to be an IPv6 issue.

I almost missed out on the $129 offer, since I’d been waiting for feedback like yours and GL.iNet closed pre-orders right as I was in the middle of placing my order! But thanks to Amber from customer support I was able to get my order through.

Thanks for the super useful post though! And thanks again to Amber, if she’ll ever read this.
