Good morning/afternoon all!
I’m planning migration from from OpenWrt 21.02.3 r16554-1d4dea6d4f / netgear wndr3700 to FLINT2/MT6000 firmware 4.5.6 and above.
So far I flashed the MT6000 device with 4.5.6 keeping the factory settings. on my old devices I do have
- DynDNS with HE.net and IPv6 in IPv4 tunnel with them
- traffic shaping
- wireguard site 2 site tunnel
I want to use nftables.
So far I found the following useful topics in the forum
HOW-TO: Script: List My OPKGs (to a file for backup)
GL-MT6000 switching to OpenWrt
MT1300 6in4 he.net tunnel - #6 by mahdi
Legacy iptables rules present on the system Beryl
When I switch to luci interface I’m offered to convert the legacy iptables to nftables ruleset.
Can someone advise which is the safest way to set the configuration identically and which qos/dyndns scripts i need to install on GL-MT6000 to use nftables QoS, 6in4 tunnel and external DynDNS service provider? I’m thinking of
- dumping my current config and package list
- updating my Flint2 device and package db to latest firmware and package revisions
- searching for comparable packages
- installing and configuring the packages
