Mudi tor disconnection error

Hello All
My router (MUDI) has been working fine for many months using the Tor network over LTE with a SIM card inside.

Now I am facing an issue where it boots up fine, connects to Tor, and works for 10 minutes on all my devices, then I get a no internet error on my iPhone. I can toggle the network on and off; there is no fix. I have to reboot the router, and it works for 10 minutes, then I have to reboot to reconnect. Likewise, I must find a fix.

I tried reformatting the router from scratch and testing all networks (5G and 2.4).

Please help. Thank you.

I assume that you use the last firmware 3.217

If you only need 2.4G WiFi, you should disable 5G Wifi, and the TX Power for Wi-Fi should be set it to “Low” unless you need it to a higher level. Doing this your router will need less power, there will be less heating and less pressure on the system.

The bandwidth should be 20 MHz for more resilience to interferences

Did you try connecting it to through wire to another router and use another router 's WiFi (for testing purposes)?

I usually only use 2.4, not 5G; I was just testing if the error was on both networks. Yes, I’m on the latest firmware.

I am not a expert I have LUCI can you please do a step by step guide. I dont understand where exactly which modem , interface ect to adjust please can you add a step by step

When i go to advanced > luci> then network > drop down menu I click interfaces (right ?)

at interfaces i see

Guest - BR Guest in blue

Lan BR - LAN in green

And modem 112 in Red

when i click edit and advanced settings on modem 112

I dont see a MTU settings option but on the other 2 I have the option to change it. Do i change it on BR guest Or BR LAN

U said change on 112 3g but There is no option to ? please help I cant use the router any more

In luci, it cannot directly configure parameters such as MTU at current stage.

You can use the sdk4.0 beta version if it is convenient for you.It need to not keeping configuration upgrade.

Ur saying if i upgrade to beta the issue will be fixed ? ( the beta update fix issue ) ?? Version: 4.3.6 release4

Right now im using Version: 3.217

and in the next version the fix will be permently done ?

MTU can be configured in this firmware. The issue caused by MTU can be solved.

when I upload the beta file to the local update section I get a error ??? why . can you push the update stable since beta i get error??

Thank you, this fixed the problem.

I have a few concerns about the new beta firmware you asked me to use.to fix the problem

There is no VPN Policy page like on the stable on the beta. If you’re using TOR, where can I set it to USE VPN (TOR) for all processes on router - main network and internal processes

On the last version STABLE. I would toggle OFF USE VPN for guest network (in my case TOR)

And on toggle all processes

so to summarize, the new firmware fixed the problem for connection but it is missing some features that I need to use.

I need TOR to be used On all processes of the router. Except the guest net work. Ideally just using a simple UI page as I’m not an expert of WRT

PS. the picture is of the old page! I would have tor on and have all switches on but have guest network off’

still no help ??? I need kill switch (tor all fuctions of router ) and i need guest network to use regualr internet like on the old admin panel!!!

please help
