Setting up my friends GL.iNet Spitz for t-mobile BYOD Tablet Plan: Should my TTL rules look like this:
iptables -t mangle -I POSTROUTING -o rmnet_mhi0 ! -p icmp -j TTL --ttl-set 64
ip6tables -t mangle -I POSTROUTING -o rmnet_mhi0 ! -p icmpv6 -m hl ! --hl-eq 255 -j HL --hl-set 64
or should my rules look like this:
iptables -t mangle -I POSTROUTING -o rmnet_mhi0 ! -p icmp -j TTL --ttl-set 255
ip6tables -t mangle -I POSTROUTING -o rmnet_mhi0 ! -p icmpv6 -m hl ! --hl-eq 255 -j HL --hl-set 255
Do I need a #start and a #stop when i put this in the Firewall custom?
We tried setting TTL in the mobile app but still getting throttled.
Did you change the IMEI to match your phone 's IMEI?
Correct the ID has been changed. Updated Firmware and It stays after firmware reset.
Here is a method that worked before for someone:
No, it’s a USB modem. The router LAN IP is 192.168.80.1 which I assumed was the gateway too.
The 192.168.0.1 is the IP the modem normally gets when plugged in to a Windows PC.
Hello everyone, hope everybody is doing ok, I was thinking of creating a new post, I’d continue with this thread since it is also related, I have both MT1300 and AR750S, on the 3.216 firmware I was able to just copy/paste it under custom firewall rules but on 4.3.2 B1 firmware the interface is totally different, any idea on how to do it? thanks!. This is my first posr so take it easy on me
, still learning openwrt.
