Wait, so you didn't notice the topics where customers are complaining about issues with acceleration, slow speed, MLO issues, and wireless problems? I thought maybe I saw it somewhere else... but no, it was definitely here.
Just some :
Hey, I've bought flint 3 and I have subpar wired speeds.
When connected directly modem to PC it's about 700Mb/s.
When through flint 3 it's about 300Mb/s. I didn't change any settings, flint 3 is on newest FW, both cables are 1000Mb/s.
Rebooting with cables unplugged did not help.
I have a Flint 2 which is rock solid.
So when the Flint 3 came out I ordered it to replace a crappy old TP-Link.
The Flint 3 is very inconsistent. Some times I can get 600-700 meg then 1 minute later it'll be down to 1 meg. And this happens all the time to the point I needed to put the crappy TP-Link back.

Hello, I have confirmed a firmware bug on the new Flint 3 (Wi-Fi 7 model, 5x 2.5G ports).
My Line: 2.5Gbps / 1Gbps PPPoE (VLAN 100) in Italy. Firmware: Latest official.
THE BUG: 1. With Hardware Acceleration ON: Download is perfect (~2300 Mbps), but Upload is CAPPED at ~700 Mbps. 2. With Hardware Acceleration OFF: Upload is perfect (~880 Mbps), but Download is CAPPED at ~1000 Mbps (by the CPU bottleneck).
This 100% confirms the Hardware Acceleration feature has a bug and cannot correctly proc…
When the WAN connections reset or go offline - it seems like my LAN connectivity goes wonky. Tonight I had my entire LAN go down, the router was blinking blue - and I can't confirm if the WANs were unavailable or not, because I couldn't get in to the router. Nothing in my LAN was accessible. Couldn't ping local devices or the router itself, from any of my systems. Best I could tell my primary WAN was online (modem had no noticeable error lights)
I have dual WAN, I have done controlled failover …
Hi all, (apologies for the ChatGPT-ish format.. Its quite good at summarising stuff. I am not!)
Curious if anyone else has run into this — I’d love to compare notes before pushing GL.iNet for a final fix.
Setup:
GL-BE9300 (Flint 3)
Virgin Media Hub 5 in modem mode (UK Gig1)
WAN port should negotiate 2.5GbE
Router mode with standard NAT, DHCP, MSS clamping etc.
What’s happening
eth0 (default WAN port) links up perfectly at 2.5GbE, but once the router gets a public IP and sta…
I just bought this router to replace the Flint 2. I had very high expectations for this router, but unfortunately, after trying it out, the Wi-Fi is truly disappointing, despite the four antennas. I have a very small apartment; in the bathroom, for example, the Wi-Fi is terrible. With the Flint 2, I could get 600 MB in that area (I have a 1000/200 fiber connection), but now it barely gets 50 MB. Even the router my carrier gave me works better than this one. Why, I wonder, is a $200 router so dis…
so i recently bought a Flint 3 and i have it all running well, but occationally my TLC Roku tv or even my jellyfin server will randomly disconnect, usually with the tv we have to go to network settings and reconnect to the network, but my jellyfin server will automatically reconnect after about 30sec or so. Any ideas what could be causing it?
I have just setup my Flint 3 router. I’m coming from an Asus RT AX68U Pro. I kept the same SSID and password so that my household could connect without manual setup etc…
So 2.4, 5 and 6 ghz are all the same SSID and password. But all of my devices connect to 2.4 no matter what I do.
I enabled MLO, and used the same SSID and password, but now I have two networks with the same SSID to connect to. However, now my devices can connect to 5 and 6 ghz bands. None of my devices are wifi 7, but several…
